WCAG 2.2 AA

Access for everyone

BFS Development LLC targets WCAG 2.2 AA across this site. This page states what is done, what is known-limited, and how to report a barrier. Last reviewed October 2026. This is a self-assessment, not a third-party certification.

Conformance summary (v1.3, October 2026)

CriteriaSupportRemarks
Keyboard operableSupportsFull keyboard paths; menu trap with focus return; native disclosures; games are real buttons.
Focus visible + managedSupportsFocus-visible rings; focus moves into the menu and the contact form's error state, and returns to the opening control when a panel closes.
Reduced motionSupportsGlobal kill-switch plus explicit covers; content verified fully visible with Reduce Motion emulated.
ContrastSupportsToken pairs measured WCAG AA on light and dark surfaces; the lowest measured text pair is 4.76 to 1 (muted text on white) and small text on the dark footer and panels measures 7.45 to 1 or better.
Touch targetsSupports44px minimum on buttons and primary standalone controls, verified by measurement. Inline prose links, the skip link, and the toast dismiss are documented exceptions below.
Forms + errorsSupportsLabels; required fields carry aria-required, announced once, with a visible (required) marker hidden from screen readers; inline errors, aria-invalid wiring, and error focus; no placeholder-only fields.
Live regionsSupportsGame scores, form validation, and copy feedback announced politely.
Images + headingsSupportsDecorative art hidden; single H1; hierarchical headings; skip link.
Audio, video, mapsN/AThis site ships none.

Known limits

  • Touch-target exceptions to the 44px house floor: inline prose links are about 20 to 21px tall (the WCAG 2.5.8 inline exception), the skip link expands to 130x36 on focus, and the toast dismiss control is 24x24.
  • The contact form's empty-submit focus order is under review: errors are announced and marked invalid, but the exact landing field has varied in browser checks.
  • Copy-to-clipboard confirmations are code-verified; a real-device tap check is still owed.
  • The home page cycles through the three apps. It pauses on hover and focus, has a visible pause button, and does not move at all under Reduce Motion.
